ISPIRI PARTNERS WITH BATC FOUNDATION AND SPECIAL SPACES

Ispiri is proud to be a BATC Foundation build partner. Recently, we volunteered to create an art room for a well-deserving girl named Rachel who was battling Crohn’s disease. With the help of vendors, trade partners and employees, Ispiri designed a space that included new flooring and a craft table. Thank you to Special Spaces for also partnering on this project.

ISPIRI SPONSORS THE BUILDERS OUTREACH FOUNDATION

The Builders Outreach Foundation, the charitable organization of the Builders Association of the Twin Cities (BATC), was formed in January of 1995 by the Builders Association as a way to promote homeownership through affordable housing and to contribute to the revitalization of our core cities.

In 2007-2008 the Foundation took on a new challenge, Operation Dream Makeover. This project is completing a whole home makeover for an incredible young Marine wounded fighting in Iraq. With the motto “Making a difference… one home at a time,” the Builders Outreach Foundation has made a difference to a number of families, neighborhoods and cities. The Builders Outreach Foundation relies entirely on the generous works of volunteers who are Builders Association members.

ISPIRI SPONSORS A HOLE AT VETERANS MEMORIAL GOLF TOURNAMENT

This August, Ispiri was proud to support the 2nd Annual Veterans Memorial Golf Tournament in Memory of Dick Stafford. Dick Stafford was a long time Washington County commissioner and auditor-treasurer and played a major role in the memorial at the Woodbury City Hall, which serves as a site to recognize the contribution of those citizens who have served on military duty.

The tournament was held at Eagle Valley Golf Course in Woodbury. Ispiri sponsored a hole at the golf event, and all proceeds went to funding and maintaining the Veterans Memorial at Woodbury City Hall. The event also included raffles, contest awards and a silent auction.

ISPIRI AND THE YMCA Y PARTNERS CAMPAIGN

Ispiri is a corporate sponsor of the Greater St. Paul and Metropolitan Minneapolis YMCA Y Partners Campaign.

Through Y Partners, the YMCA raises funds annually to provide financial assistance scholarships and program subsidies. Raising funds through Y Partners assures that no one is ever turned away from YMCA membership and programs due to financial need.

The YMCAs in Minneapolis and Saint Paul have been serving their communities for more than 150 years. The life-changing work the YMCA does with children, teens, adults and families would not be possible without the support of thousands of people, including many wonderful volunteers and sponsors.

For additional information, visit the YMCA of Greater St. Paul and Metropolitan Minneapolis.

ISPIRI SPONSORS THE WOODBURY COMMUNITY FOUNDATION

In 2003, seven Woodbury leaders convened a variety of volunteer groups from the community to identify what was needed to further their charitable work. Armed with this information, the Friends of Woodbury began, focused on offering expertise, guidance and funding to other organizations.

It was renamed and re-organized in 2006 as the Woodbury Community Foundation to better reflect the service the organization wanted to provide to the local community and its vision of the future. At Woodbury Community Foundations (WCF), it is their goal to ensure community well-being for all in Woodbury and help make our community a great place to live, work, and play.

Their goals are to promote philanthropy to build a culture of giving within Woodbury and provide stewardship of permanent community resources, build bridges between local government, non-profits and businesses, provide community leadership by convening others around key topics and areas of interest, act as a catalyst for change to improve Woodbury and inspire and engage its citizens, and fund non-profits that fit its guidelines and serve citizens.
