An Apple Valley Kitchen Renovation With the Bright Idea
This Apple Valley, MN family approached Ispiri in need of a total kitchen renovation. The family had recently purchased their new home, and though the home’s bones were good, it was overdue for some updating. Old, stained woodwork throughout, plus inadequate lighting made the home, especially the kitchen, appear dark and uninviting.
As Ispiri set out to make a plan for this Apple Valley kitchen renovation, the main goal was to improve the overall brightness and function of the space. The clients wanted to incorporate some of the kitchen’s existing design elements, including exposed wood ceiling beams and paneling, while adding some modern touches.

A bright vent hood and decorative tiles around the range complimented white cabinetry, while the darker island cabinetry created contrast and matched the original wood ceiling beams.
