Adding Functionality
The original layout of the condo lacked functional storage in the foyer area and the space for additional family and friends in the kitchen. In redesigning the foyer, we found room for a closet that is both functional and works as a unique, beautiful design element that welcomes anyone coming through the front door.
The kitchen island had been too small for the space and what the client envisioned for their dream kitchen, so while expanding the kitchen we replaced it with a much larger island that is perfect for entertaining and provides additional storage and counter space.
Creating Space for Hosting
One of the client’s main needs was to create a space expansive enough for hosting while maintaining an atmosphere of luxurious calm throughout the whole home. In the living room, we brought the fireplace away from its original corner and used it to create a stunning centerpiece for friends and family to gather around without being cut off from the kitchen. And the built-in nook provides extra seating without anyone needing to turn their back from the gathering.

Even within the peace and comfort of a dream home, an owner’s suite should be a special sanctum, a retreat perfect for beginning and ending days. For this client, we redesigned a run-of-the-mill space into an owner’s suite that is unique and immediately evokes a sense of calm relaxation no matter the time of day.
