This kitchen remodel is a must-see transformation

This client wanted to remodel their outdated, run-of-the-mill kitchen and transform it into a space with a warm European look and feel. While the amount of space didn’t need to be changed much, the way it was utilized made the original kitchen feel cramped and awkward, especially with the range on the island.

The inspiration for this renovation’s design grew out from a modern European aesthetic, resulting in a completely reimagined kitchen with appliances and storage integrated seamlessly into plenty of counter space, lots of natural light and wood accents, and a large central island that is perfect for hosting, food preparation and daily family use.

From Concept to Completion: Design and Renovation Process

During the initial consultation, the Ispiri design team focused on listening and understanding what the client wanted — from the big design ideas down to the smallest details. We wanted to know everything they dreamed about for their new kitchen. We also took the time to understand how the client wanted to use their kitchen, including what wasn’t working with their current space to ensure that the renovation not only looked fantastic, but was also highly functional.

Drawing inspiration from other modern European kitchens was a must, so our designers created mood boards and found examples that showcased these designs. Then, in conjunction with the client, they developed elements in that style that best fit this project and iterated on them to come up with a unique and distinctive design.
