Room with a View
When your home is in the bluffs overlooking the majestic St. Croix River, the view would, rightly, be the focal point of the entire house. Unfortunately for the owners of this stately artisan craftsman, the original kitchen — which should have been the heart of the home — was enclosed and dark, blocking the view of the river and creating a less-than-hospitable environment. Additionally, the existing layout of the appliances made the workspace difficult to maneuver through. So when the homeowners retired from their jobs, they contacted Ispiri to bring their luxury kitchen remodel vision to life.

Artisan details, including wood beams across the ceiling and a copper hood vent, created the cornerstone of the design. A lighter color palette and wood-stained accents tied the space together with the rest of the home while making the space feel more open, bright, and inviting. Maple wood floors added cohesiveness and echoed the pattern found in the new natural slate mosaic tile backsplash. And, of course, the view of the river became the centerpiece of the space, allowing calming views and a swath of natural light within the kitchen.
This luxury kitchen remodel was able to reinvigorate the home, providing the homeowners with the perfect space to spend their newly free time in peace.
