REMODELING A FAMILY HOME THAT’S VERY FAMILY FRIENDLY.

A more open and inviting space, lake views from all corners of the main floor and an extra cozy room where mom and dad can relax at the end of a long day—that’s what the homeowners of this 1970s home were inspired to do for their family. With the focus on their main living area, including the kitchen, dining room and new sunroom, the remodel for this busy family with three young children also featured a new master bathroom and home gym. The project couldn’t have turned out better now that this family has more family-friendly space to enjoy together.

The ceiling beams in the family room connect the oak hardwood in the kitchen to create warmth and smooth transitions.
